Record Snowfall (Local), November and December 2012
While most North Americans marveled at the record lack of snow in winter 2012, in November and December British Columbia and Alberta experienced one of their snowiest winters ever. Snowfall totals were about 30% greater than normal overall with some locations reporting 14% more snow than the previous snowiest season.
This work compiles the 36 days photographed in November and December of 2012. Each day is compressed horizontally.
